We want to create a device for Telemedicine, connected to a specific medical issue.

Findings

Teladoc Health 

Teladoc Health founded in 2002, is a global provider of virtual care, transforming the access, cost, and quality dynamics of healthcare delivery. Teladoc Health divides its services into six categories: platform and program services, guidance and support, expert medical services, mental health services, telehealth, and integrated virtual care. 

Teladoc developed a mobile app software using artificial intelligence (AI) for users to receive medical services from professionals.

The company provides 24/7 on-demand remote medical care for non-emergencies such as flu, pink eye, infections, and more. The company’s physicians are board-certified and state-licensed physicians. 

Teladoc also provides services for hospitals and organizations, for example, they provide support to clinical staff and specialists, allowing hospitals to increase their client base and reduce workload in hospitals. Furthermore, Teladoc provides hardware solutions, such as telemedicine devices, connecting patients with physicians in hospitals.

American Well (Amwell) 

Amwell founded in 2006, is a telehealth platform in the United States and globally, connecting and enabling providers, insurers, patients, and innovators to deliver access to more affordable, higher-quality care. 

The company developed a platform to support all telehealth needs from urgent to acute and post-acute care, as well as chronic care management and healthy living. 

Amwell offers different solutions for private clinics, and educational organizations, including hardware and software telemedicine solutions, as described on their website

Amwell has an international presence through a partnership with “Meuhedet” in Israel. 

 

CLEW Medical 

CLEW Medical founded in 2014, is an Israeli company specializing in providing healthcare providers and administrators with high-accuracy predictive clinical analytics. Their technology monitor patients in real time and delivers predictive warnings during their time at the ICU. 

In August 2022 CLEW Medical announced cooperation with Equum, a physician-led acute care telehealth company, to provide telehealth services in acute critical care. In addition, the company explains in an article its vision of a hospital at home and how its unique technology can be embedded in telemedicine. 

 

Medtronic 

Medtronic founded in 1949, provides healthcare technology solutions for complex and challenging conditions. They deliver treatments and therapies for different fields such as lungs, brain, ENT, and more.

Medtronic provides care management and telemedicine services, analyzing patients’ data remotely and providing medical services. More information about this service and its benefits can be found on Medtronic’s website

 

AMD Telemedicine 

AMD Telemedicine founded in 1991,  create clinical telemedicine equipment that allows doctors to diagnose illnesses using telecommunications technology.

The company develops “AGNES Connect” a telemedicine tool that connects patients with physicians around the world. The system is equipped with diagnostic tools to provide the physician with medical data in real time.
